Programme: Transformative Futures at Camden Art Centre, Sat 26th Nov, Sat 10th Dec, 2pm-4pm.

I have been invited to co-lead Camden Art Centre's Transformative Futures programme, a series of artist-led workshops for young people aged 15-25 designed as drop-ins but set up to form a “collective”, culminating in a public-facing offering in the summer of 2023. Each session we tune into the seasons for instructions on how to inform our arts of living and practicing through bodily and sensory ways of knowing. We embrace playful experimentation, a focus on process and an expansive spectrum of 'art' practice. So far we have delved into mulchy compost, contemplated past and future lineage's through clay and reclaimed ritual through collecting and arranging. There are two remaining sessions with me this term: Sat 26th Nov we will be taking a field trip from the gallery exploring Being Walked By the Forest in Hampstead Heath and on Sat 10th Dec we will be taking a field trip inwards for Rest as Resistance! The sessions are designed with artists in mind but all are warmly welcome (under 25).
