Artwork feature: Compost Crystals in "We The Forest" published by Forestry England

I am so honoured to be featured in We The Forest a stunning book combining art with science to open children's and adults' eyes afresh to the wonders of the forest. Authored by Dr. Sai Pathmanathan, the book draws on detailed Forestry England research and resources to bring to life the complexity of the forest ecosystem to young readers. My contribution are Compost Crystals creating an invitation around “dead” wood. Other topics explore how trees communicate and how their superpowers of regeneration protect the planet; learning to speak in 'tree' with artist Katie Holten's tree alphabet and rituals of the forest with Indonesian arts collective Gulung Tuckar. The book is published by Forestry England and Cultureshock Media.
